Assessment Services

The ARC team provides informed, unbiased results through the use of objective, reliable and thorough assessments. Our offices provide assessment scheduling within 48 hours, with on-site reports guaranteed within 5-7 working days. Reports are tailored to meet individual corporate templates and guidelines.

ARC's role is to conduct informed and impartial assessments either by a single practitioner or by a health practitioner in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary assessment team.

Independent Medical Evaluation (IME)

Reports are performed with all referral questions addressed. ARC can also provide case management for all file handling.

Fit for Work Assessments

Upon a return to work, an employee is tested on his/her ability to perform the essential physical demands of his position.

Post Offer Pre-Employment Screening

A preventative test at the point of hiring for employers to objectively determine whether the potential employee can safely perform the physical demands of the job.

Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE)

Whole body and/or spinal FAE. Conclusive report is provided containing overall results, FAE charts, comments on effort and consistency / validity, recommendations, and answers to any provided referral questions.

Return to Work FAE

Similar to the general FAE. However assessment includes a physical demands analysis comparison and Return To Work recommendations are made. Responses to any referral questions are also laid out.

Cognitive Demands Analysis

An on-site assessment of the cognitive / psychosocial demands of a job or work task, including attention, decision making, perception, and work organization, etc.

Physical Demands Analysis

On-site objective description and measurement of the physical demands of a job. Essential duties of the job are identified.

Job Site/Work Site Analysis

Including a PDA. Recommendations are made on ergonomics and risk factors as well as employee adaptations if requested. Recommendations are provided for minimizing risk factors and safety concerns, and for improvements in ergonomics, and or productivity.

Ergonomic Assessment Services

Risk assessment of workstation, and/or job. Engineering designs and policy/protocol recommendations are made for improvements.
