EXTENDED HEALTH

At ARC we put your health and rehabilitation goals first and foremost and we work with you to reduce any financial barriers to treatment by direct billing to many extended health insurance plans.  With some insurers it is not possible to direct bill but with those that we can ask our personnel about our credit card policy for direct billing and have piece of mind that ARC abides by all legal requirements to keep your personal information safe and secure.

The following is a list of private insurers that we have historically billed:

  • Blue Cross
  • Claim Secure
  • Co Operators
  • Cowan
  • Desjardins
  • Empire Life
  • Equitable Life of Canada Great West Life
  • Green Shield
  • Johnson Inc
  • Manulife
  • OTIP
  • RWAM
  • Sun Life

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT INSURANCE

ARC is a licensed facility under the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. This means that although your own private insurance (ie work insurance, Greenshield, Blue Cross, Great West Life) is your primary coverage, when involved in a motor vehicle accident, any costs not covered under these plans will be billed directly to your auto insurance.  If you do not have any other primary coverage or your coverage does not cover injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident eligible medical costs sustained as a direct result of your motor vehicle accident will be covered under your auto insurance.  This allows you to be focused on your individual recovery goals while reducing the financial worry.

Call us to book an appointment with our friendly and knowledgeable personnel who will be happy to advise you about the information needed to get you on the road to recovery.

We offer a wide variety of services for patients who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, some of which include:

  • Physical Rehabilitation through chiropractic or physiotherapy
  • Supervised Exercise Programs with a certified kinesiologist or exercise therapist
  • Home or Work Site Assessments
  • Occupational Rehabilitation Programs
  • Bracing or Home Therapy devices such as TENS or home heating pads
  • Independent gym programs working with local gym facilities
